As my hosting bills are skyrocketing due to overuse of the shoutbox I though I'd start a new treadtongue

Ninjering etc etc is becoming a bit boring so lets see if we can come up with a few good ideas to make life a bit more fun in the Moors.

So start posting your ideas and remember we're Sinners, we'll try anything once...maybe twice.

And be quick about it.

I'll be on for Tribe night tomorrow. Lets try and make it interesting, not only for ourselves but our new members.

The same old gank/zerg freeps in the one zone gets really old after a while. I lose interest in playing quite often, cause its always the same lol.

Hell i'd rather to creep PvE atm. I dont think ive seen/heard anyone attempt Ost in months! Depending on freep forces we could give that a whirl.

So get in with your suggestions. You have 1 day.

btw, u serious about the shoutbox bro? I had no idea. All those useless comments... lol

Ost is always going to be the same storey..if theres 6 or so freeps defending it goes into the 'too hard' basket. It's just too easy for the 1 person who isn't on vent and somehow doesn't understand the instruction 'everyone stay together' to make things go from bad to worse real fast.
I think what we need to begin working on is coordinating seperate group sized partys. We currently coordinate very well via vent as a large zerg force. What we lack is the ability to send out 4 or 5 smaller groups to begin skirmishes all over the map, instead every single creep online falls back to the same possition to defend en-mass. This is the same thing for both sides as we almost always end up with 1 large force fighting another large force, a push here, then back, rinse and repeat.
We all do it, log on and ask 'wheres the fighting' and go to that point, instead of taking the incentive of knowing where everyone is and going someplace else to mix things up.
Book 12 adding the need for us to perform pve based tasks (taking keeps) in order for map control to be obtained is going to require more then just a zerg force if we are to truely dominate.
I'd like to log on and find (as an example) we have a group camping ppl in eagle pass heading to the Ost Ettendeep entrance while another group is taking Isen and theres another group defending Lug..spreading both creep and freep numbers out accross the map rather then the single battle at one point.

Thats just the thing. Will never happen. Why? Because everyone wants their inf/renown. If theres a freep sighting, everyone zergs to it. Same for freeps. Rarely are there seperate battles going on. And if they are its freeps in HH when theres some in EC.

There used to be seperate groups running around, but that was a long time ago when we werent as coordinated and creeps only told us after they were dead where the gankers are on OOC.

The main problem is if theres an somewhat balanced fight going on, and theres others on the map, they will come and tip the balance.

me thoughts would be try the bubble, drop group run to second floor trick for all keeps TA,TR and LUG (TA could be interestingtongue) this is only if the map is blue, which most of the time is in aus/nz times. This seems to work well, and last time we did it we found we could map out if 1-2 freeps turned up, and do it again at another keep....confuses the hell out of new freeps and creeps for that matter.
Also i think certain leaders of freep raids will bore the hell out of us! (as per most of this week)
The dynamic and pressure to take a keep in Bk12 will change from what it is now.

let us know if it costs too much to host Bro, I'm sure SIN could sort out a small donation each.

I was joking about the hosting costtongue it's only $8.99 a month flat rate, so keep shouting!

Something I wouldn't mind trying when grams camping is going on and we have a few Sinners on (10-12ish) we all change to wargs or reavers flank the freeps and do a suicide rush. I've noticed a lot of times when I'm behind the main freep pack then didn't spot me for quite sometime(they're too busy farming) only when I start pinging off a few arrows at a Min do a they turn around.

With the whole splitting up thing, we could try more synchronised manoeuvres. Like when the freeps are at Grams, maybe 8-10 of us map to good Lug, while some stay with the main "group", then do a hammer+anvil thing. At the moment neither creeps nor freeps keep scouts out, so this could really help confuse the freeps. Even if they all escape, it'd be good to start getting used to having smaller parties communicating together.

Making PvMP fun again....

Fight club.

We could try organising some evenly matched small scale battles. For example, we could have 15 creeps vs 10 freeps turn up at an arranged time and place. The meeting place would need to be somewhere people don't go too often like the cow area south of DG and west of HH. The idea would be that each team agrees to fight to the death. No running or DF'ing. The fight would go until one side is completely wiped. It would be interesting to see how different combinations of groups on each side would perform against each other. For example, both teams could turn up with no healers. Or, we could try an all reaver/WL group vs an all ranged freep group. Or, 20 low rank creeps vs 10 freeps. If a fight was too one sided the group dynamics could be changed or extra numbers could be added to the loosing team.

I'd be happy to give it a go on any of my characters on either side. What do you think? Is this a stupid idea or could it be fun?

We could do that but on a smaller scale. Id rather keep it tribe only the first few times.

I have fought bro a few times on my guard and always made for an interesting fight. I killed his warg at lvl 46!tongue

That nite we ended up with the epic Gangster Conga Line, I put my LM up against Wheels right outside OC where others were fighting. Got my ass kicked, but it was great fun. And it was easy for us to do because we were in the PvE channel of creep vent. It can be a bit hard to get the sides to cooperate, but it can be done. Hell, I watched KG take on Pureevil one day in a match they set up. I just walked around them gathering wood while they had their fight (KG told me I was not allowed to heal him). It would be fun to watch these matches.
